RTE’s Nationwide did a wonderful piece about Waterford Castle this week. The Castle is situated in the suburbs of Waterford city on it’s own island – an idyllic place, accessed by it’s own ferry. It was bought by a returned emigrant, Seamus Walsh, who went to Australia in the 80s looking for work. He now owns the Castle, realising a lifelong dream. It’s a beautiful setting for weddings and portraits. We recently photographed a wedding there, using the many beautiful rooms and picturesque backdrops.
